Stroop test results and scoring guide
Accuracy is correct responses divided by 40 trials. Median response times use correct responses only, separately for matching and conflicting trials. Interference is the conflicting median minus the matching median; it is shown only with at least five correct trials in each condition. A negative difference is possible. Device latency and reading familiarity affect results; this is a demonstration, not a clinical assessment.
Testing conditions
Choose the ink colour, not the word. Use the labelled buttons or keys 1–4. After Start, 40 trials mix 20 matching and 20 conflicting word/colour pairs. Each trial allows 8 seconds. A wrong choice or timeout counts as an error. A break or hidden tab interrupts the run; restart for a comparable result.
Make a useful comparison
Keep the mode, device and conditions consistent. Familiarity, distractions and practice affect results. Self-reported traits and interests describe your current answers; they do not establish your ability or suitability for a job. Game results describe this particular run and are not IQ or clinical scores.
Share the result with its context
Finish the test and choose Create shareable result. Only this action publishes your summary. An optional name, testing conditions and individual result image appear on your permanent page. Individual inventory responses are discarded after scoring. The Share on LinkedIn button opens LinkedIn’s composer for you to review and post.
