Free memory test
Free visual memory test online: a tile pattern shows for two seconds, then you pick the same tiles from memory. Ten levels, three lives. Shareable result, no signup.
REMEMBER THE PATTERN · BUILD YOUR STREAK
How many tiles can you remember?
A pattern lights up for two seconds. When it disappears, select those same tiles in any order. Each completed level adds one tile. You have three lives and ten levels to try.
A wrong tile costs one life and reveals the pattern. You then retry that level with a new pattern. This is a visual practice game, not a medical memory assessment.
How the memory test works
A pattern of tiles lights up for two seconds. When it disappears, select the same tiles in any order. Level one is three tiles on a 3 × 3 board; each level adds one tile, and from level four the board becomes 4 × 4, up to twelve tiles at level ten. A wrong tile costs one of three lives, shows you the full pattern, and repeats the level with a new pattern. The game ends at level ten or when the lives run out. Only fully completed levels count.
What this memory game measures
Short-term recall of positions you saw a moment ago, plus attention, vision and comfort with the controls. It is the same mechanic as the visual memory games on brain-training sites, presented without a ranking and without claims. It does not measure every kind of memory, it does not estimate intelligence and it cannot diagnose anything.
Keyboard users can move between the labelled tile buttons with Tab and select with Space or Enter. Every tile announces its row and column.
How to score higher
Group neighbouring tiles into a shape and remember the shape rather than the tiles. On the 4 × 4 board, remember the empty cells in a crowded row instead of the filled ones. Between attempts, notice which part of the pattern you lost, the edge or the middle, and look there first next time. Compare runs on the same device and display size; a phone and a monitor are different games.
Reading your result
The memory result guide explains the level score, the four descriptive ranges and what each board size asks of you. Unsupervised practice, not a clinical measure.

The optional public card carries the levels completed, lives used and the test version, with a permanent link, a preview image, an Add to LinkedIn profile button and an HTML embed. It does not contain the patterns. No account is needed and the display name can be left blank.
